Enefit Green is a renewable energy company that considers the environment in its decision-making, avoids environmental pollution and minimizes the environmental impact of its operations. The Narva wind farm pictured was established on the closed ash field of the Balti power plant. This site –reminiscent of the footprint left by oil shale energy – thus became the foundation for a wind farm producing renewable energy. Not a single square meter of forest or field land was used for this wind farm, while giving the closed ash field a new purpose.
